Transforming mental
healthcare through
innovation, education
and compassion.
RAPIDS BRINGS TOGETHER THE SCIENCE AND ART OF PSYCHIATRY TO IMPROVE DIAGNOSTIC SPEED AND ACCURACY, ENHANCING TREATMENT OUTCOMES.
Mission
With misdiagnosis rates between 66% and 98% for psychiatric patients treated in primary care, the lack of a consistent, evidence-based “standard of care” is shockingly evident. Our mission is to dramatically improve mental health outcomes, making diagnostic and treatment guidance available to clinicians where and when they need it, to build capacity in our healthcare system and make room for compassion – for patients, and for ourselves.
Science is at the heart of RAPIDS.
Built by a psychiatrist and validated by leading psychiatrists, family practitioners, nurse practitioners and pharmacological experts, RAPIDS is designed to positively impact every aspect of the care continuum. Led by psychiatrist Dr. Diane McIntosh, the RAPIDS team works closely with third party advisors and experts in the psychiatric field. The Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) has assisted with the clinical validation of RAPIDS, providing objective, independent, clinical feedback through a network of leading key opinion leaders (KOLs) who are experts in the mental health space.
Where do we start?
We start with supporting the people who bear the weight of mental healthcare delivery.
